Transported is working in partnership with a number of local community groups to bring arts activities and performances to community events in 2015

Join artist Julie Willoughby (Zoomorphia) to ‘cartouches’ based on stone carvings and decorative architecture in churches and stately homes, working with plain card, recycled card and paper.  Cart is cut and curled, layered and folded to give the impression of sculpture.  We will mainly be using monochrome card to echo stone and plaster – create something stylish!  Take your cartouche home or leave it to be displayed, and learn some new skills that you could even use making your own greetings cards.

About this community event:

St Leodegar’s Church is one of the ‘hidden’ gems of Lincolnshire and is only two miles due south of Boston Stump.
The Fair features a wide range of craft stalls and attracts a wide range of ages to the event, and is organised every year by the Wyberton Church Committee.

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
