Join us at Springfield’s Festival Gardens for evening of fire display!
On the 14th March at Springfield’s Festival Gardens, Transported will be hosting an evening of fantastic displays. The event is free entry and suitable for families.
In addition to fire displays, audiences will also enjoy entertainment from Danny Pedler, the Spalding samba group Fen Funk Bateria (who recently lead the 2018 Illuminate parade procession in Boston) and Transported’s own Aerial Dance performing.
Danny Pedler will be launching his booklet Field and Dyke from 5:15pm until 6pm. Field and Dyke is a booklet amalgamating approximately forty interviews from people of South Holland to give a brief history of the district, told through the memories of its own people.
Danny will also be performing live folk songs inspired by the book that have been created into an album, which will be released on the 10th May at the South Holland Centre.
As the evening dusk comes, and the light begins to low, our fire display will begin, starting at 6:15pm and concluding at 8pm.
Entry is free and the venue is open to the public, no need to book.
