Due to the Government’s announcement of a second lockdown in November, we’ve unfortunately had to postpone this event. We are looking to have a single night event early February – watch this space or sign up to our mailing list to be notified of any news!
In the meantime, the team are working hard on building new sculptures and moving plans for design workshops for these sculptures with Boston educational settings online.
Boston Borough Council and Transported are hosting a spectacular outdoor exhibition; the ‘Boston Blossoms’ Fire Garden (originally planned for the 26th and 27th November).
The garden has been created for Boston residents to enjoy the beauty of Transported’s collection of ‘blossoming’ themed fire sculptures within the illuminated canvas of Central Park’s trees.
The Fen Funk Samba band, formed for last year’s Illuminate, will provide the driving rhythm for live performances including fire juggling, BMX and unicycle fire jumpers, aerial dance and a new performance by the Black Friars Academy.
Many of the sculpture designs will have been created during workshops with local high schools and Boston College.
The event is free, but tickets must be booked to comply with Covid Safe distancing recommendations
