Artists cammdesign were commissioned last year to create a new piece of public art to be situated at RSPB Frampton Marsh, near Boston. The piece, called “Reflector”, will be revealed in a special celebration event in Spring 2015, which will also include pieces of art made in community activities running alongside the main project. If you want to get involved, you still can… Feather workshops are coming up with artist Julie Willoughby in May at Frampton Village Hall and Fenside Community Centre and all are welcome!
In the meantime, cammdesign are keeping a fascinating blog of the work’s progress, so keep tuned for updates!
Last week was really busy but also very exciting. We have complete the fabrication and polishing of Section D, the welding of Section C and also made a start on the application of the ‘Flock’ using the Community Drawings collected by Julie during her workshops. I think you’ll love them!!
