There have been a couple of recent changes to the team here at Transported HQ… at the end of 2014 we said goodbye to Rosie Lesurf-Olner, who had been with us as an Arts Engagement Worker since the start of the programme in April 2013. There were lots of tears but also smiles as she’s emigrated to New Zealand and judging from her pictures so far, is having a fantastic time! Rosie – thanks for everything you’ve brought to Transported and all the best in your new country!
We are delighted, however, to welcome two new additions to the Arts Engagement Team – Grace Osbourne (second from left above) and Kristina Taylor (third from the right). Here’s a little more about them:
Kristina: Living locally in Lincolnshire, I’ve centred my life around both visual and performance art from a very young age leading to studying for a degree in Drama from The University of Northampton. I’m delighted to be working with such a talented, dedicated team with a shared ambition of enriching the lives of the local community by enabling the arts to exist in everyday life.
Grace: I have always had an interest in art, culture and the community; and completed an undergraduate degree in the Conservation of Historic Objects, prior to studying Fine Art to Foundation level. Last year I completed a visual arts internship with artsNK before working for Transported as an events team assistant at Light Waves. In both roles I experienced first-hand the positive effects that the arts can have on individuals and communities, so I am excited to help Transported have a further impact on both.
We’re sure you will join us in giving them a big welcome to the Transported team!
