Activate! is a project organised by South Holland District Council’s Community Development team which provides a range of activity days for young people in South Holland during the school summer holidays.

Activate gives young people across the South Holland district the opportunity to try a range of sports and arts activities within their local community, giving them something to do during school holidays.  Activities at previous events have included a mobile climbing wall, mobile skate park, rowing, garden games, and arts & crafts. All activities are free and people of all ages are encouraged to come along with a picnic and enjoy spending time together.

Activate! is back this summer with activities including the ever popular climbing wall and arts activities from Transported and the Creation Station.

Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information contact the Community Development Team on 01775 761161 or email: community@sholland.gov.uk

Transported

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
