Join us on Saturday 10th July 2021 for the launch of the new trail of etched brass Boston artworks ‘Etched in Time’.
‘Etched in Time’ are eight permanent artworks which celebrate Boston’s heritage. The artworks respond to the themes of Travel, Trade and Influence and were created by Electric Egg in partnership with Transported and Boston Borough Council.
The artworks are etched brass with a black inlay and bronzed finish and were hand drawn digitally and are designed to weather with time and become an established part of the street landscape with the patina of the brass evolving. They are installed at various locations around Boston town centre.
Between 9am and 4pm on Saturday 10th July 2021, come and find the Transported stall at Boston Market to collect a trail map and leaflet, learn more about the project from our lovely team.
You can also attend a free artist-led walk with Chris Lewis-Jones at 11am and 2pm and create your own brass rubbings of the artworks with free provided materials.
