Transported is working in partnership with Boston Borough Council to bring Family Fun Fridays, free arts activities, to Boston Marketplace in 2015

Jestival will be bringing an array of circus themed activities including fun walkabout acts and a chance to have a go and learn some circus skills yourself!

UPDATE: Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Jestival are unable to do tomorrow’s event. However we’re delighted that The Fabularium are able to step in at the last minute to bring us some of their brilliant walkabout performances that were so popular with audiences in Boston last year.

Also, come and join The Eloquent Fold (artists Carole Miles and Phiona Richards) for a free drop-in workshop and have fun with fabrics and words: sample two Make Away activities. You can make a felt and stitch bookmark and/or a felt and fabric rosette. The activities are free, fun and fabulous, suitable for all ages and abilities! It will also be a great opportunity to meet the artists and find out how you can get involved in their new project for Transported, “The Small Library of Big Ideas” taking place in libraries in Boston, Long Sutton and Spalding from the end of August.

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
