An artakeaway box

Artist Chris Lewis-Jones will be heading out into Boston to deliver ‘artakeaway’ activity boxes straight to your door!

FenFrott is an project created to keep the public entertained whilst under the Covid-19 social distancing restrictions and is part of the CREATE-on Programme.
Participants are invited to create frottage drawings (rubbing drawings) from three rooms of their homes. They can then post their frotts in a Facebook group for other members to try to figure out the location of the exercise.

We appreciate that everyone might not have the tools to create frotts at home, but you can have them delivered! Chris will be cycling (complete in delivery driver outfit) to the residents of Boston with their artakeaways between 10am and 12pm.

Each delivery will include 9 sheets of frottage paper, a stick of graphite, a list of instructions and a stamped/addressed envelope.
The service is free, but participants are invited to document their work and post to FenFrott Facebook page, and to fill in a very simple feedback form (hence stamped/addressed envelope).

To arrange your delivery, ring 07877 989213.
You can see Chris on the FenFrott bike in all his livery here!

Please note: We have put in place appropriate measures to ensure social distancing and sanitisation in accordance with government guidelines.
