Are you planning a festival for 2022 in South Holland or Boston?

It might be a Jubilee celebration or a themed festival that you are looking to create in your community or street.

We’re here to help!

We’re inviting you to join us at the Festival Forum!

On Thursday 3rd March, join us at Boston College Spalding Campus on Red Lion Street between 4-6pm for the first Festival Forum.

We want to help provide advice on how to work with new people and create new art and arts experiences.

We are inviting representatives of communities and groups, residents, artists and local authorities, so you can network and share your ideas with those attending.

It’s also an opportunity to tell us what you would like to learn (i.e. banner making, print making, bunting making, face-painting) to make your event spectacular, and we can provide practical upskilling workshops.

We know from initial inquiries that people are planning a range of activities such as large music festivals, smaller street parties, tree planting and other public realm projects, so there is a range of subjects to discuss and share.

A second event is planned on July 7th  to follow up some of these events and discuss learning.

Please RSVP your attendance by email Sophie on sarnold@lincoln.ac.uk.

Transported

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
