Join us for the second inspired and spectacular interpretation of the Mayflower 400 Journey and what brought the Pilgrims to Scotia Creek one dark night in the autumn of 1607.
Residents, school pupils and students have worked with Transported artists to create amazing themed lanterns to form a colourful procession below a magnificent projection on St Botolph’s tower, all to the sound of local choirs singing the Mayflower Anthem.
The magnificent parade will finish with Boston’s annual light switch on.
The FREE event organised in partnership with Boston Borough Council will also include face painting from 3pm, fairground attractions and Santa’s Grotto. There will be a market from noon until 8pm and late night shopping, in addition to performances by Sarah Lowe and Boston Jive.
