Transported and South Holland District Council are delighted to have been delivering a series of outdoor activities; the Spalding Super Saturdays.

The Spalding Super Saturdays will take place on the second Saturday of Nov 2021 to February 2022.

At this event, on 12th February 2022 , the last in the series will see lots of wonderful fun and free activities, including:

  • A Victorian Photographer who will take beautiful portraits of those in the town using vintage equipment
  • Helter Skelter arts with stilt walking, magic and bubble blowing
  • The Spalding Gentleman’s Society with a selection of Spalding-themed treasures from their collection
  • Spalding Civic Society will be exhibiting a new sculpture as part of their Market Arts Trail
  • Get the last of the free takeaway arts activity packs!

Transported and South Holland District Council are working together to add to the shopping experience in Spalding and after such a long time away in lockdown, getting us back to High Street in a super way. We hope you enjoy.

We’d also love to hear from you; the residents of South Holland. What else would you like to see take place? Come talk to us!

This project has been made possible thanks to the Government’s Welcome Back Fund and Arts Council England.

Chat with the Spalding Gentleman’s Society about Spalding’s history

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
