Informal and free workshop for adults and children to create shields for the Swineshead Pageant on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June 2016 – with Julie Willoughby from Zoomorphia. Children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult. The shields will be large (2ft x 2 and a half ft or 2 and a half foot by 3 and a half ft) painted with emulsion paint onto hardboard and based on a coat of arms, brightly coloured. Participants will be able to take their shield and treasure home after the Pageant.  Materials and equipment are provided, along with expert advice, guidance and templates.

The workshops are FREE, open to all and suitable for ages 6 to as old as you like!, children under 10 will need assistance and should be accompanied by an adult. They will be a good activity for families to work together, but suitable for all  ages.
