Have you ever wondered how a first draft becomes an amazing poem? Or how to decide on the best form? Or what works well as a title?
To find out the answers to these, and many other crafting questions, Rosanna McGlone interviewed a group of award winning poets for her new book, ‘The Process of Poetry’.
This interactive workshop will offer a unique opportunity to explore early drafts by poets such as Don Paterson, Pascale Petit, Hannah Lowe, Gillian Clarke, Regi Claire, Joelle Taylor and Victoria Kennefick, and to discuss how they developed them. There will also be the chance to apply what you learn in your own writing.
As a Lincolnshire-based writer, Rosanna would like this sessions to be aimed at those based in Lincoln, Boston and East Lindsey. The workshop is ideal for those who already have some experience or interest in writing.
This and the others in this series of workshops are free of charge, supported by Arts Council England, and Transported, but places must be booked in advance through:
