Have you ever wondered how a first draft becomes an amazing poem? Or how to decide on the best form? Or what works well as a title?
To find out the answers to these, and many other crafting questions, Rosanna McGlone interviewed a group of award winning poets for her new book, ‘The Process of Poetry’.

These interactive workshops will offer a unique opportunity to explore early drafts by poets such as Don Paterson, Pascale Petit, Hannah Lowe, Gillian Clarke, Regi Claire, Joelle Taylor and Victoria Kennefick, and to discuss how they developed them. There will also be the chance to apply what you learn in your own writing.

These online sessions are open to all and are ideal for those who already have some experience or interest in writing.

The workshops are free of charge, supported by Arts Council England, and Transported.

The workshops in this course take place on Mondays, from 7pm-9pm on:
Monday, October 9, 2023
Monday, October 16, 2023
Monday, October 30, 2023
Monday, November 6, 2023
Monday, November 13, 2023
Monday, November 20, 2023
To get the best out of the experience, it is recommended that you join all the dates.
