by Voices Unplugged, supported by Voluntary Arts & Transported for Voluntary Arts Week

Voices Unplugged is a small adult singing group that meets on a regular basis in Spalding. Each year before Easter the group rehearses up songs from a mix of folk, ‘world’ pop and gospel styles and performs a concert indoors in aid of a good cause. With this well-rehearsed set of songs, the group also likes to get out and about and sing in less conventional situations and they are looking forward to singing this year in a sheltered spot in the beautiful gardens of Ayscoughfee Hall. There is no charge to attend the event but the group will be collecting contributions towards Macmillan Cancer Support.

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
