Artist Chris Lewis-Jones will be facilitating a series of weekend art walks at various locations in Boston and South Holland in September 2020.

The walks will start at 10.30am and finish at about 2.00pm.

The group will meet outside St Matthews Church, PE12 9SD.

Participants will explore the sounds and sites of the locations through which they pass and make frottage drawings that will capture the forms and surfaces of places of interest and significance.

These will be documented and shared on-line. Social distancing will be enforced and drawing media will be distributed but not be shared.

This event is a follow on from the project FenFrott (part of the CREATE-on Programme).

Participants are advised to bring a packed lunch and weather-proof clothing.

The event is free, but, to be sure of a place, please book in advance by ringing Chris on 07877 989 213.

Transported is a strategic, community-focused programme which aims to get more people in Boston Borough and South Holland enjoying and participating in arts activities.  The programme is overseen by the Centre of Culture and Creativity at the University of Lincoln, and is funded by the Creative People and Places fund from Arts Council England.
