Free Street Dance Classes for 11-18 year olds!

It’s time to put on those dancing shoes… a series of free street dance classes for 11-18 year olds in Boston Borough and South Holland start next week!

You may remember us getting very excited about the prospect of nearly £50k funding as part of the People’s Millions competition on ITV’s Calendar at the end of 2014, and getting even more excited when Dance Factor got runner up and got the funding necessary to roll out the scheme across Lincolnshire… well, we are delighted to share that Dance Factor sessions are taking place at Fenside Community Centre, Peter Paine Performance Centre, Geoff Moulder Leisure Centre and Kirton Middlecott Sports Centre in Boston, and Gosberton Church Hall, Long Sutton Youth Club, Holbeach Youth Club, and the Castle Sports Complex in Spalding. Each group will get ten weeks of free rehearsals with a professional dance artist. All groups across Lincolnshire will then be invited to compete in a regional semi-final to earn a place in the Grand Final.
