‘Thrive’ is an incredible piece of immersive theatre that takes a life affirming look at how we can find hope in the face of adversity. Developed in collaboration with psychologists and inspired by true stories Thrive shows us what happens when three people, pushed to the edge of what they can bear, dig deep and learn to live on.
Tickets cost just £5 or £3 for students and are available from the St Barnabas shop in Boston market place or online from www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk. The performances are at The Gliderdrome, Spain Place, Boston on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th October at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).
St Barnabas Hospice gained external funding to bring the show to Boston as part of a wider campaign to inspire communities to care for one another. Those experiencing palliative and end of life care can quickly become isolated within their communities as people are increasingly uneasy with issues around dying, death and bereavement. This show is part of a drive to reintroduce these topics into social experience so that modern taboos can be challenged.
