Transported is delighted to be helping to support Boston Mayflower‘s Memory Lane Dementia Service, who are currently running a series of workshops with Liz Pearson from The Glass Room for those affected by dementia.
From Wednesday 28th March, through to the end of June, they will be working with Liz on a project to be displayed in Blackfriars Art Centre throughout July to help raise awareness of dementia.
After the work has been displayed at Blackfriars, Boston Mayflower will be looking to display it somewhere else. So if you can think of anywhere that has a big space which needs brightening up, get in touch!
Please call the Telecare Team at Boston Mayflower (0345 604 1472) if you are living with dementia or care for someone living with dementia and would like to join the sessions, which take place every second and fourth Wednesday in the month, from 10am to 12pm at the Mayfields Unit on Broadfield Lane in Boston.
