We are delighted that our lead organisation artsNK, through North Kesteven District Council as part of the NK Arts Partnership with The National Centre for Craft and Design, and The Design Factory co-operative, has been awarded continued NPO funding from Arts Council England.
North Kesteven District Council were awarded more than £804,000 in National Portfolio Funding for the next four years, starting in April 2018. Breaking down to £201,160 a year, this is consistent with the level of Arts Council award over the past three years.
The money will enable The NK Arts Partnership to continue to deliver its programme until 2022, allowing more people to experience and take part in great art in North Kesteven and beyond.
North Kesteven is among 831 successful National Portfolio organisations from among 1,160 applicants.
Council Leader Cllr Richard Wright said: “Arts Council England’s welcome investment will contribute significantly to the ongoing delivery of the NK Arts Partnership’s ambitious, innovative and high quality programme of arts, cultural and creative industry experiences and opportunities.
“The Partnership’s programme is highly regarded locally, regionally and nationally, as this funding award shows, and something we are especially proud of as an authority. I look forward to us building that further as part of the rich variety of services and facilities which contribute to the vibrancy and vitality of our flourishing communities.”
