Transported are getting involved in lots of exciting community events across Boston Borough and South Holland this month!
We will be joining the St Guthlac’s Church History Day in Fishtoft bringing Elizabethan Minstrel, Dante Ferrara. Dante will performing on various period string instruments, followed by an informal educational session.
Furthermore, are bring Dave Wood AKA Dr Rhyme to the wonderfully nostalgic Steam Threshing event in Bicker and Surfleet Summer Fete and Dog Show. Dave will write poems to and for the people that are at the event. Dave will begin the process by use of an imaginative form. He might ask about people’s interests or mood at the time. The poem will be written while they are enjoying the event. Then, as they leave, will be given their own poem to take with them as a reminder of their experience of each event. For the poems Dave has collected so far, visit http://transportedmobilepoetry.blogspot.co.uk/.
Also, there will be another opportunity to see The Case of the Curious Suitcase, performed by Rhubarb Theatre Company at the Gedney Drove End Summer Fair.
