The Nu-Urban Gardeners are popping up in Boston and South Holland next week as part of Transported’s Pop Up strand, and a shadowing opportunity has just been released – so if you’re interested in performance arts and community engagement then this is for you!
Description of Activity/Performance:
The Nu Urban Gardeners are a live performance duo who are running their Pop Up game show, inspired by food, called ‘Cabbages and Kings’. They will invite members of the public to play along with their highly visual and humorous arts experience.
Dates Required:
Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st July (can include all dates, or specific ones)
Details of Shadowing Opportunity:
You will be required to assist the NUGs in ‘NUG style’, this means that you will happily wear a NUG cap and coat, engage with the public in a user friendly fashion and, wherever seems appropriate, contribute your own skills to the activities and conversations we shall facilitate. We do not facilitate workshops, we facilitate collaborations (and undertake spontaneous interventions). In addition, help documenting events (we need lots of photographs) , moving objects about during both the game and photoshoots, packing up and unpacking the car will be much appreciated
