It’s not long until the Swineshead Pageant on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June now – and the final workshops are this weekend at St Mary’s Church Hall in the Market Place at Swineshead.
The FREE Treasure Lantern workshops take place from 10am to 4pm each day. We will be using Carnival techniques to make beautiful colourful illuminated sculptures of King John’s Treasure. You can carry these in the parade and display them at the event, after which you can take them home to illuminate your garden.
The workshops are free and all materials are provided. Children under ten should be accompanied by an adult. If you would like to have a go at working with willow, would like to learn how to make things for festivals and carnivals, or just fancy having some treasure of you own, come and join us at Swineshead.
