Transported Team Update

Transported Team

The Transported Team were very sad to lose two permanent members of staff last year—Art Engagement Workers Laura Kavanagh and Frankie Wing to a dazzling new life in Paris and to a new job working with Jasmin Vardimon in Kent respectively.  Simon Hollingworth also finished his consultancy position with us in October and is now working on a variety of different projects within Lincolnshire.  We wish them all the best in their new positions and hope they will keep in touch!  We are delighted to welcome five new members of staff on board:

Richard Erwin-Jones—Arts Manager

Following a career change away from Project Management in a US Bank,  Richard gained over 10 years’ experience of Arts Management in the East Midlands. This has included roles in: Resource Development  for Arts Council England; Communications for Nottingham Arts Theatre, Nottinghamshire County Council and Curve Theatre; leading the Creative Regeneration Programme for Groundwork East Midlands and more recently Project Manager at Cultivate; the East Midland’s Audience and Organisational development agency.

Elizabeth Bergeron—Arts Engagement Worker, leading on Past Inspired and Community Events

Elizabeth is originally from the other Boston, but spent some time studying in the UK and basically never left. With a background in museums, she is especially looking forward to working with local heritage professionals for the Past Inspired strand.

Kate Thomas—Arts Engagement Worker, leading on Pop Up and DIY

Kate studied contemporary dance at The University of Lincoln.  After graduating, she successfully secured an Internship with contemporary dance company Made by Katie Green. Kate is the newest member of the Transported team and started in January 2014.

Lauren Williams—Arts Engagement Worker, leading on Creative Consultation and On Your Doorstep

Lauren is a local girl having lived in Lincolnshire all her life. Last year she graduated from Bishop Grosseteste University with a degree in Drama in the Community and has previously studied dance for a few years with a passion for musical theatre.

Penny Milnes—Administrator

Penny started working for Transported in January. Although she doesn’t have a background in the Arts, she does have lots of experience working for local businesses and the community in Boston and South Holland.  She is very excited to be working with such a professional and dedicated team!
