Transported is coming to the end of its second phase and is holding an open meeting at Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre in Boston to share the story so far and discuss what is going to happen next.
It’s been a busy summer for Transported, with live performances taking place across both areas on the back of a FreshLinc lorry, an interactive street theatre piece in local market places, a site specific piece working with Elsoms colleagues, creative workshops and much more.
Plans are now being made for the third phase of the programme, which will continue into 2015. Transported is holding an open meeting at Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre on Wednesday 24 September to share the outcomes and review the activities of Phase II and discuss what’s in store for Phase III. There will be light refreshments from 4.30pm, with the update taking place in the auditorium from 5pm. The Transported team would like to welcome everyone to this meeting – anyone who has been to an event and wants to find out what happens next, and local businesses and companies who may be interested in working with us in the future. Or just come along to say hello! There will also be the opportunity to ask the Transported Management Group and Arts Council England questions about the programme.
“The open meeting is an opportunity for Transported to demonstrate its recent successes and to listen to the views of those that attend on the way forward for the next 18 months.” Dennis Bell, Transported Management Group
