On Friday 8 June, ‘Knit Corsham’ was installed in a small, Wiltshire market town for both International Yarn Bombing Day (9 June) and The Corsham Festival (14-17 June).

Amazingly the rain subsided and we were given a window of woolly opportunity to ‘stitch-up’. BBC Points West filmed us http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-18373728#?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter and it was all extremely exciting.

Passers-by beamed smiles of approval. Drivers stopped their cars to thank us. Men emerged from pubs to congratulate us and the local council loved our garlands of flowers so much, that they’ve asked to use them for ‘Corsham in Bloom’ week!
